On the other hand if it wasn't for the ORG I never would have been entertained by a picture of a bunch of white haired bearded guys flying over a suburban house and about to lay a licking on a fully geared swat team. I would definitely pay to see that show.

If I was still PIMI, I'd be terrified
by neat blue dog injust looking at the pictures in tomorrow's wt study makes me think of the nightmares i used to have as a child.
and nowadays the pictures are sometimes more realistic, so for any who are truly mentally in, this has a terrible effect on them and even their life choices.
looking in as a pimo or pomo it seems almost comical that adults would believe in this sci-fi bible fan-fiction, but it's not funny when we remember that all ages of the r&f are being manipulated by the gb by these cheap and evil means.. .

Publisher ID - I Saw It In Person & It Was Terrifying!
by thedepressedsoul ini'd like to start off this post by saying, we all know that the wt loves control.
it's clear by their history, their wt's, the elder arrangement and so on.
however, after witnessing and using the publish id program in person, it takes this need for control to a whole new level & it was scary.. if you've ever seen builder assist (the website program used for ldc volunteers) or the metro program, it actually looks pretty similar to that.

tiki asks "But why? For what reason are they maintaining such a massive database?"
We can reverse this scenario and ask, " For what reason would the publishers want a massive data base on the elders, traveling overseer's and the Governing Body?"
We should also ask what kind of information should be in the data base and which the publishers would have easy access to?
First, the kind of information.
- Mental capacity/health/defects/handicaps
- Physical capacity/health/handicaps
- Education - all aspects including grade school, college, courses, university etc.
- Work experience - type of work, position, performance,
- Criminal records
- Marital relationship[s] - number and gender of children / age / standing in congregation [ wife's also]
- Record of time spent in field ministry since baptism
- Number of bible studies conducted [ past and present]
- Names, locations and dates of all congregations attended since baptism
- Positions held in congregation [dates and locations]
- Records of disciplinary action taken by the congregation
- Basically an exhaustive resume of someone to whom you will entrust your care and the care of your family.
Now what would be the list of reasons for every publisher to have easy access to all of this information?

Shunning is not necessarily a bad thing. It separates the quality from the riff-raff.

Are we talking sanctuary cities or welfare to immigrant cities?
My friend in Surrey, B.C. tells me that in his apartment there is a refugee family that is receiving $900.00 per child every month. That's 5 children x $900 = $4500.00 per month. and that's only the kids. Rent paid and other money going to parents.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them. [ Really? Send me a copy of your prayer.]
Every parents worst nightmare. [ Really? Every parent or just you? By the way, are you even a parent?]
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.[ Really? Sounds like the kind of thing I WOULD wish on my worst enemy.]

The Watchtower stole from me and you too
by rickroll inthink of how much time and money the tower stole from any who were in the cult.
think of the vacations as a child you could have taken with your families the memories you could have made instead of sitting in a hot bs week of echo talks and propaganda.
they stole so much from us.

Woe is me. Woe is me.
I coulda been a contender. I coulda been a somebody.
It doesn't occurr to you that everyone bought into it?
Those who bought into it in the 30's convinced those in the 40's to buy into it.
They convinced those in the 50's to buy into it ... and so on until you or your parents bought into it.
And here you are whimpering that " I bought into it and wasted my life."
What great thing would you have done to help mankind other than taking holidays and sleeping in on Saturday?

Confession Time - Music You're Embarrassed to Admit Listening To
by Simon inadmit it, we all have things that we reel off when people ask what our favourite music is, just the same as if people ask what our favourite movies are.
we're meant to say "citizen kane" and "casablanca" and not "battleship" or "pacific rim" but we know what we're going to watch if they are ever on tv at the same time (and which ones we've never actually seen).. so how about some confession time?
what do you listen to when no one else is in the house?.

Well Simon, I must say that is the first time I heard Abba singing An Angel Passing Through My Room. I love Abba now, now so much in the 70's. Their music will last as long as there is recorded history, HOWEVER, you really should be embarrassed wanting to listen to that song. I am so happy that is the one and only time I will ever listen to it, HOWEVER, it does kinda remind me of When You Taught Me How To Dance, by Katie Melua, which I absolutely love.
I don't know what to think.
Darn you Simon!

by Rattigan350 ina couple of months ago, i reported on my congregation being disolved and merged with another.. on sept 1, cong b merged with cong a using the same hall, thereafter using cong a's meeting times.
also nearby cong c moved into the hall using cong b's meeting times and cong c's kh is being put up for sale.. i've since been to both sunday meetings and both midweek meetings.
at all, the parking lot is totally full, cars have to park around the corner and on the street.
